Hello! My name is Leandra Ganko and I am the owner of LeGa Design Group. I was creating websites "on the side" for several years as a freelance designer and in January 2008 I made it official by starting my own small business here in Durham, NC. I particularly enjoy working with non-profits and small business owners who are just starting out or trying to upgrade an existing web presence.
Back while I earned my biology degree at Eckerd College, I was heavily involved in the school newspaper and that began my love affair with design. Learning to layout a multipage entertainment section appealed to my science-minded brain. The type of web design I love is that which allows me to link both creativity and solid organization.
I am also wife to a computational biologist, mother to an ten-year-old rescued mini schnauzer named "Riesling" (she runs my security and delivery confirmation services) and a pastel artist. I love to travel, hike to waterfalls, go wine tasting and watch black and white movies starring Cary Grant. 
And because everyone has to get out of the house once in a while, you may see me in person at a NC Tech 4 Good, Triangle Web Women or Durham Young Professionals event! Hey there! My name is Megan Long and I am Leandra's new coadjutor here at LeGa Design Group. I am excited to jump in and get my feet wet and support ya'll any way I can.
While my full time job is a bookkeeper and Administrative assistant at a local church in Chapel Hill NC, my most rewarding job is being a mom to two children and wife to my husband of ten years. My schooling background is in Youth Ministry and Adolescent studies and when I can find a spare moment, I enjoy cooking, gardening, power walking and sipping a good IPA.
